This is her:

Any ideas why?
I have an Arabian and he is the same way. He actually has a huge hay gut on him but his ribs still show. I actually think this is part of their breeding. The only other possibility is she might have worms. I wouldn't worry:)
I had this same issue with my baby. The vet said to worm him again. That didn't work, and that's when I was told to get some extra protein in his diet because he probably had protein deficiency. I added Super 14, which was the best thing I could find with a lot of protein. His tummy has gotten less round, and his ribs are more covered now. He also eats Purina Omolene # 300 and gets Manna Pro Opti-Zyme daily.
I can tell little to nothing from that video, but from what I can see none of those horses looks over weight.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com If one seems to be bloated up but is still showing ribs, I would get a vet in to do a worm count, as that is often the sign of a wormy system.
I'd have a vet do fecal test for worms
EDIT: whoever is giving thumbs-down to everyone suggesting worms ... grow up. It is what it is. A huge belly with visible ribs is a classic sign of worms whether you like it or not. Half a dozen people don't pull this answer out of their @ $ $ es.
Have an FEC done and deworm her as necessary. If she's relatively parasite-free, and your vet says she doesn't need to be dewormed, then increase her exercise regimen gradually .
1. Maybe she's pregnant.
2. Maybe its intestinal worms. Have a vet check it out.
3. Sometimes an all grass diet and no work will do that too.
He's wormy - my 3 year old was the same when I bought him - a normal worm dose from your tack shop should do the trick - if it does not go after that you may need to get your vet in.
I agree with Sazzy ... can't tell from the video, you need some still shots. but if there is the possibility of worms I'd do something ASAP . they can really make a horse unhealthy.
could be parasites ...
