There is a rescue in California and they always have large draft cross horses. I really like draft crosses and I was wondering which state/area has more of these large horses. The rescue is The anamli farm, I don't know how legit they are though. Any way, thanks. And, I was just wondering, I don; t think I'll buy/adopt one of these.
I think Pennsylvania might have the most drafts, but I'm not sure about draft crosses ... There's always a ton of drafts that the Amish dump at New Holland (PA), that's where the draft rescue I volunteer for rescues most of their horses. Eventing is also really taking off in the Mid-Atlantic and it seems there are a lot of Draft crosses in the area doing that.
