OMG! She ate a BUCKET ?!?!?

OMG Buttercup just ate a feed bucket! This is NOT a troll question, I swear! Buttercup really ate a feed bucket! I cant get a hold of the vet, what the heck should I do?!? PLEASE HELP THIS IS AN EMERGENCY NOT A TROLL QUESTION!
Oh no! My horse!

I would say watch her for any signs of colic or choke. Keep calling your vet and keep searching for others. And just watch her. If you can't get a vet it's the best you can do.

I pray our horse will be okay: O

And Kelsie, yeah she's okay now;)
If this really isn't a troll question - call other emergency vets in your area. Make sure she doesn't show signs of colic and do not give her any medication.

I have known a horse that broke their bucket (kicking it repeatedly) and ate parts of it. That was not a fun day.

BTW, DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN HER MOUTH.
Call as many vets as you possibly can, not just one. Call from out of town if you have to.

DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND INTO HER MOUTH. Do NOT.

One thing I just have to ask is are you alone, or are you with people ... like, responsible adults? A BO? A trainer? You shouldn't be asking on Y! A at a time like this.

EDIT: Is she okay now ...? And I'm assuming it was because Amber pretty much told you to fish it out of her throat ... so, just cautioning not to.
GET OUT TO THAT STABLE NOW AND STAY WITH THE BLOODY HORSE! Y! A soo can't help you ring an emergency vet or you'll have a dead horse on your hands pretty rapid - remember horses cant get sick meaning she cant retch it back up.

1. DO NOT FEED OR GIVE WATER

2.KEEP HER QUITE & ON HER FEET

3. DO NOT TRY AND PULL IT BACK UP AS YOU COULD DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD!
If you can't get ahold of your vet, call every vet in your area until one answers. If you are posting to Y! A from your phone you can obviously look up other vet's phone numbers and call them.
Then what are you doing on the net?

If you can't get through to the vet, then call another immediately and keep trying instead of piddling about on this.
Erm. Ok.
