Unfortunately, I have to sell her because I no longer have time to use her to full potential and she needs to be sold to a rider to show ... I just am not sure how much to ask for her. Thanks for your imput and she means a lot to me and is very special.
http://www.myhorse.com/MyHorse/upload/1/... Breed: Mixed Quarter
Color: Chestnut
Age: 5
Temperment: 4
Discipline: Undecided-many possible
Experience: Top Advanced
Description: She is a beautiful mare that has great potential and talent. She is a great companion on and off the ground. She is disciplined for Western and doesn't fight the bridle bit. She enjoys pleasure trail rides and will easily transition from a standstill into the canter. She doesn't hesitate for water or steep, rocky slopes. She is very people friendly and will follow you wherever you go (trailer friendly as well). She is very experienced. A few techniques, such as bowing, are known and an advanced rider highly recommended. Possible events she would be good for could be dressage, rodeo or horse racing. She was entered in a country race on a grass track and was timed .54 for 5F (record at that track). She would make a good equine companion for any rider looking to succeed.
Very well broke (show broke) papered horses are struggling to bring $ 500-1000 dollars in many cases in today's market. Many horses are being given away right now. I would say you would be lucky to get $ 500 dollars for her. I realize that is a pitiful amount of money for a fairly nice little horse, she is very cute and if she had papers I would be interested in her, but the fact is that even the nicest quality registered horses who have show records and could be competitive on the day they are purchased are struggling to bring much money. Horse prices have really fallen in the last year.
Around where i live, she could be sold from 1000-5000, but most likely around 2000.

Ps. She is a beautiful mare! She reminds me so much of one i used to ride. I would love to have her.
A couple thousand probably
Between 1000-6000
Btw she is so lovely i always wanted a horse like her
Stop trolling. It's not even good. TT
I would say you should ask a couple thousand, probably around $ 5000, for her. Horses aren't selling for as much and as fast as they used to, so when in doubt, list the price a little high and be willing to take lower offers. She looks like a really nice horse with a decent amount of training and lots of potential though. If you don't have offers after a few weeks, just keep lowering the price a little and waiting until the right person comes along.
Hope that helps!
So, she's got no reg papers, right?
she's only five and she's broke to trail ride and that's it?
that's not a good description about how she rides .... does she w/t/l on a loose rein?
as is .... I'd say $ 1,000.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com If she WTL on a loose rein and has reg papers .... she's still only 5 .... so, maybe $ 2000.
For the people saying up to $ 5,000 ... they are obviously not living in the real world. LOL
A $ 5000 horse has papers, and is 7-8 years old, has a PROVEN show record in western pleasure, has won some titles and is a solid all around horse probably already started in dressage .....
$ 5000? Dream on.
You can get a reg dead broke horse in western pleasure for $ 3000. And that's a flashy paint gelding!
she's pretty, but only as is .... so young with trail experience ..... worth about $ 1000 - $ 2000.
I would not pay more than $ 500 for that mare.
