http://www.flickr.com/photos/51344811 @ N0 ... what do you think? and what do i need to improve on? thanks:) xx
you look better, but your legs are still too far back in the last picture.
bring your legs in front of you more. they should only be slightly behind the girth.

you are also getting ahead of your horse. if your crotch is hovering over or is past the pommel, you're too far forward.
aim to have your bum hovering over the middle of the saddle and not past it.
think of crouching and not so much of standing up and pushing your heels back.
an exercise that works is dropping your stirrups and letting your legs hang down.
your problem is that you're pinching with your knees, so by forcing yourself to sit the trot and canter without pinching with your knees will help break the habit.
also work on two point work on the flat, with your legs in proper position.
Your leg position was atrocious and insecure in the first ones, but it definitely improved!:) You still need to work on it a little more, keep it forward and still. In the first you were practically touching the horse with your upper body and you back was far to arched, but it is now neutral and you aren't as close. It has definitely improved. Good job! Keep up the good work!
Hello!
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com The first two looked photos did look like you were folding too much,
but the last two looked like you have definetly improved!: D
But you still need to practice, everybody does .. even the top riders.
So dont give up, nobodys perfect! (Especially me: P i love jumping tho!)
Carry on the way you practicing your doind great!
Hope this helped:)!
Your position is not that bad some pointer that 'may' help:
* Try and keep you toes in i can see there poining about ward
* Give your horse a little more head space (lossen) your reigns over the jump
* Tie your legs to the girth so there dont go back so much.
A million times better !!!!!!!!! the first ones you are way folded over, your legs are pretty far back, your back is a bit hunched and you had no release. now your folding is good, you could release a little more, your legs are good, and your back is still a little bent but not badly. nice job!
in your previous pictures your leg is far too back and your hands are to close to you. the recent ones are amazingly improved your hands are in the right position and you legs are great:) LOVE YOUR HORSE BY THE WAY!! <3
You definately have improved! Well done!
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com It looks like your body positioning has got tonnes better, now work on your legs. You need to really keep you're hells down more so your legs don't slide backwards.
x
PS: your horse is stunning!=)
In the first 2 pictures, I agree that they weren't very good. You have definitely improved on your position. You and your horse look like a great team.: D
