anything such as good things about the two breeds, origin. type of terrain they good on or weather they can deal with. Size, price range anything.
I think I heard that they originated from Africa and that they are sure footed. I think they are small horses.
something I do know is that they are cute!!! but since I am intersted in buying I don't think that will do me any good, lol
I'm just looking for a good western pleasure or trail horse, nothing for competition but still active and spirited. I also like to ride bareback and bridleless so not too spirited. I know that it really depends on each individaul horse but overall is either of these horse breeds sound appropriate for me?
The Kabardan is from Russia. It is a very hardy horse and can withstand some pretty extreme, cold weather! They're very sweet and are willing to do what you ask for. They originate from mountainous areas and are often called the best mountain horses - ever. Therefore, they are perfect for trail riding. They have smooth gaits. Some are natural pacers, some are natural trotters. They are your average sized horses, in the 15hh range . Most Kabardins live in Europe.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com The Boerperd does come from Africa. They are very good endurance horses, therefore good trail horses, as with the Kabardin. They are surefooted, too. They are easy going and level headed. They can be anywhere from 14 - 16 hh, but most are shorter. They are very rare.
