What breed do you think she is [and another Q]?

My pony is registered Part Bred New Forest, after researching I've found the sire's side of her family are all purebred New Forests back to the 1800s.

Well I've been noticing a lot of spring in her step and elegance when she stands square, I've had two people tell me today she looks like an Arab?

What do you think? (This has to be the worst pic ever taken of her, but it's the only side view)

As for her dam, I've looked online ( http://www.allbreedpedigree.com) and the only possible dams would be purebred Thoroughbreds all along, she really doesn't look it to me!

My second question: At the end of the dam's name on the passport has a code of 2 letters then 5 numbers, could this provide more info on finding her?
She's a cuteness explosion that's what! I love little miss Indy.
There is a New Forest registry that you could do some research. One thing interesting was the Stallions must be approved to breed so the offspring could be registered. I learned something new today about a breed I never heard of. By the way, your pony is really cute!
No arab in her the stride is all wrong - I'd say she's a new forest x tb or a new forest crossed to a light boned pony (possible welsh) - who tall is she?
doesn't look like a Arab to me.
Well, she looks like a new forest to me ... don't forget that way back many years ago they released both Thoroughbreds and Arabs onto the forest to improve the ponies and make them bigger - so every new forest pony is slightly part bred anyway. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

If yours definitely has a tb mummy then you can put her spring down to that anyway - as arabs and tbs have a lot of simiarities.

Anyway good luck with her she seems sweet.
