[But be honest if you do think so] x
Karen O'Connor is 5'6 ", 125 pounds (9 stone 7) and took her pony Teddy O'Connor (14.1 hands and finely built) to the highest levels of eventing. They were Olympic contenders until the sudden tragic death of Teddy.

Add 4 inches to his height and 4 inches to your height, and you're equivalent. No one thought she was too big for him; you're not too big for yours. And you won't be, even if you end up over 6 'tall. Your weight is also perfectly fine.

So yes, You're Being Silly!: D Enjoy your horse.
Not at all. I am a short guy and I have a 14 hand Paso Fino pony. I weigh quite a bit more than you and can trail all day . He kicks butt on most horses for what he does.

I would guess if you want to jump a taller horse could jump higher, but Rusty can clear the pasture fence if he wants (about 4.5 feet). Mostly just to get to the barn at feed time first.
You are not underhorsed if your TB makes you happy and you are a good pair. You may be a little self conscience because others have larger horses, but the size doesn't always make a good team. So focus on your team work and not about the height of your horse and you.

Good Luck:)
I'm 5'10 and chunky and my mare's a 15'1 cob type and I'm fine on her - as long as you are comfortable on her and she's comfortable carrying you then there's not a problem . There was a 14'2 won hickstead so the horse's height isn't that big an issue.
You're fine.

Ok you may be a tad leggy, but for show jumping it really doesn't matter - you're not too heavy and if you and your horse are a good team that is the main thing.
Unless you feel that your horse is having trouble carrying you (which i doubt he does) your fine.
If your horse is not struggling to do her job, then you are been silly!!
Your being silly
so long as you and your horse are happy and going well together as a team then that's what matters
