Okay! Hey!!!:)) So I have a Dutch Warmblood mare ... She is about 8 years old and her name is Vienna ... She is a color I have not seen on any horse before ... She is a brownish chestnut .... I am hoping one of you will be able to tell me what color she is!! She has absoultely NO white on her what so ever ... no white on her legs, no blaze thats white, not even one white piece of hair ... She is just FULL brown like this .... Last summer she was a chestnut color ... and now she seems to be getting darker, and darker and darker .... In the sun she is lighter, and when she is not in the sun she is darker ... I just want to know her color hahah!!!
Picture one: She is in the sun here, so she appears to be a little bit lighter ...

She may be a Liver Chestnut with a winter coat on and with a summer coat it lightens up.

But the more i look at the pictures, the more i change my mind. So i'm not positive.
My sister has a Standardbred mare that is a really dark bay in winter and a really light bay with her summer coat.
On a completely different note-I recommend removing the links that are associated with your FB page. Even with most everything private, un-welcomed strangers can find a way. You, and your Mare seem lovely!

Yep, she's a Liver Chestnut. Every horse will darker in winter because they are growing a longer, thicker coat. They will lose that coat coming into summer so therefore will have a lighter coat in the summer time.
What a beautiful horse! She reminds me of my old mare. Changing colour with different times of the day or year!
She would be classed as a chestnut. Hope this helps
She's gorgeous:)
her coat would be classed as a liver chestnut to chestnut, changing shades in summer and winter.
she's a liver chestnut.
I would say liver chestnut
:)
