what does this mean horse "information"?

What does it mean when someone says "a horse is NOT green broke to ride". I know i might sounds stupid asking this question. But i have never heard that term before. Just wondering what it meants .. by the "Green" ; part?
"Green" is a term used to say that a horse is untrained or barely trained. The horse may or may not know the basics such as being halter broke, picking up the feet etc. The horse may or may not have been backed (rode.) If someone says a horse is NOT green broke to ride, it means that the horse is trained to be rode.

I consider a green broke horse one that has been rode some, walks and stops and trots and stops. That's a basic green broke horse to me. I consider broke to mean a lot more than that, but that's another story.

If they aren't green broke to ride, then they haven't been rode at all or probably been saddled.
A horse that is referred to as "green" is a horse that has been lightly started under saddle. The horse may know some basics, but has no formal training in any particular discipline and/or possibly has certain vices that still need to be addressed.
A green horse is a horse that is untrained. Broke means the horse has been trained to carry a rider. The phrase you heard means the horse is not trained to be ridden.
Basically a horse that is broke to have a saddle on its back and maybe a rider ...
