Call them again, or have your parent (s) call. Have your friend who has seen call. Have her parents call. Keep the pictures!! Date them if they're not yet. Keep taking more. Try to get some of injuries , and Sweet Pea's leg.

Don't bother with the owners. If they haven't done something by now, there is nothing you can do to make them. People like them will only (if at all) listen to law enforcement.

As for the storm, unfortunately there is nothing you can do but wait for it to end.: (

Are you able to see any water for them?? It is extremely important they have water that's clean to drink. Horses can colic without water, and without immediate vet care for colic they can die.

Does Sweet Pea's head bob real low when she walks? There could be anything wrong with her leg.

While I'm not a big promoter of breaking laws (ie trespassing) these horses need water. Bring each horse a five gallon bucket and fill it with clean water. If they drink it down, keep filling it. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

If there is grass where they are that isn't eaten down to the dirt, but is green and looks ok, they might need their teeth floated, which is when a vet grinds down hooks that form on the teeth from uneven wear. They ' re simply not able to chew well enough for food to be digested. Or they could be wormy which would account for weight loss even with grass. The parasites leech all the nutrition from the horses.

While it may seem like a good idea to go buy a big bag of grain and dump it over the fence for them, DON'T. Starving animals need to be reintroduced to food gradually, in small frequent meals. The overload of nutrients in the grain can cause significantly more harm than good. The best thing you could feed them would be some high quailty hay. Average healthy horses need to get about 1.5-2% of their body weight in roughage (grass, hay) per day. An average (1000 lbs-ish) healthy horse needs 15-20 lbs a day. If you do manage to get hay to feed them, don't feed a lot. Starving animals can have refeeding syndrome, which is best handled by someone experienced in rehablitating mistreated/starved animals. http://www.starvinghorses.com/Refeedings ... pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

The best thing you can do is keep calling. Don't let these horses get lost in the system that is often overloaded with mistreated animals, and not enough people to help.
Awww, im really glad you are trying to help them , take them some pony nuts, or chaff, just something a bit more filling untill someone else can help. just make sure you leave enough water, and check them over, call the vets and RSPCA or whatever it is for you. Just try to make sure they are okay and are getting enough nutrients as you can give them untill someone else can help.
OMG! SERIOUSLY? CALL THE POLICE! ASPCA! SHELTERS! GET ON THE PHONE. REALLY? AN APPLE? YEAH THAT'LL STOP IT FROM STARVING TO DEATH!

I KNOW YOURE TRYING TO HELP, BUT YOURE NOT BEING VERY PRO ACTIVE ABOUT IT. I'D BE ON THE PHONE WITH EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL PLACE I COULD FIND UNTIL SOMEONE CAME OUT AND GOT THOSE HORSES!!!

SCREW THE LAWS ..... GET THEM WATER. YOU CAN'T GET INTO TROUBLE FOR HELPING .... AND IF YOU DO, THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU ANYWAYS. THE OWNERS ARE THEIR BIGGEST CONCERN.
