are horses allowed to have ........?

  squash?

Zuchinni?

bananas?

plums?

I eat a lot of fruit and I eat on the go a lot and Indica is always begging like a pathetic puppy, so I am just curious: -]
I know they can have bananas. I'm pretty sure they can have plums. I don't know about the others.

Wasn't your last question about your horse being too fat? Fatty McFatPants?
I know they can eat pumpkins, which is a squash, but i'm not sure about other squashes. It could depend on the kind of squash you 're talking about. i've fed dallas zucchini bread before and he lived LOL, but to be honest i'm not 100 percent sure. i want to say yes, but you're asking about some weird foods so i would ask the vet lol. when you get to foods that are uncommon horse treats, you get mixed answers. it would be easiest to call your vet. they will know for sure. i know they can have bananas though. dallas likes the taste, but he makes the weirdest face because of the texture. it's really funny, actually. they can have plums also, but obviously without the pit. I'm always weary about feeding my horse foods with an edible peel, though, unless it's washed really well or organic . i just don't like the idea of feeding him something with a ton of wax and pesticides on it, just like i don't like to eat it.
My first horse was a garbage disposal. He would eat any old fruits or vegetables you threw over the fence grapes, tomatoes, lettuce, pears, you name it. He lived outside most of his life and lived to a old age. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

If your horse likes them I don't see why not. My horse is picky he will only eat regular stuff like apples, carrots, corn.

I know of people that have let their horses have soda pop or beer.

Can't be worst than that.
I had the yearlings get the gate open from their field and they ate the zuchinni and pumpkins! I have never found that they like bananas but as we have several plum trees in the fields they eat them on a regular basis, they manage to spit the stones out.
Anky feeds her horses bananas religiously, or so I've heard.

Bananas are fine, but most horses I know don't like to eat them. I would have to look up the other fruits to check. It would never hurt to call up your vet and ask their opinion.
They can eat all of those. They can also eat watermelon. Which my horses love. In a study bananas were found to be the second preferred flavor behind fenugreek by horses.
nope it shouldn't hurt her/him, in fact some horses quite like fruit or vegetables a lot i have a pony that will even eat raw basil leaves.
they can defo have bananas i had a horse that loved the banana skins but she wasnt so keen on the banana
I know they can have plums and bananas but I'm not sure about the squash and zuchinni.
