What supplies do you need to lease a horse?

Wondering .. Does the owner lend you the supplies with the horse, or do you buy your own?
It depends on the lease contract.

Leasing can be confusing so if this is your first make sure you have an experianced person there.

Normally the horse would come with saddle, bridle, cover, grooming gear, just the basics.

When leasing make sure you get in writing the extras the owner has given and get it signed by the owner.

Nothing worse then an owner when you returning the horse they ask where the horses boots are but you never had any in the first place.

Goodluck
I would say it very's for every person. The person i leased from let me use there saddle, saddle pad, bridle, halter, polo's, and grooming tools. The only thing i needed to get was my gear. (Boots , helmet, gloves ect.) just talk to the person you plan on leasing from and they'll let you know.
It depends on every case, so inform yourself before buying anything.

Usually, the saddle and bridle, halter, boots and blankets come along. You need your own polos, grooming supplies, riding gear, lead rope, etc.
It depends on the situation.

I preferred to have my own grooming kit and etc when I leased so I couldn't get blamed for misplaced items.

Owner usually provides tack and basic necessities.
