I am looking at this ad because Im currently searching for a horse. How much weight do you think she could carry considering her age and her breed. Is her age ok to be riding regularly at this age (kkep in mind thats she is an arab )? My old horse was a 15hh 15 year old Appaloosa so its going to be quite a change if I decide on her. I rode a 15hh arabian gelding at my lesson barn but he wasn't as finely built. Thanks for your help! !

generally speaking, a horse should carry no more than 20% of its own body weight, so with this one i'd say 180 including rider and saddle. also, they may look delicate but due to the way they're built, Arabs can handle more weight than you'd think. the reason they're started later is because it takes them longer to mature; they quite often don't stop growing until they're 6 or 7.
I would say the max would be around 200. She is not old so I do not see her age playing a big role in this. One of the girls I used to ride with was riding her arab at the age of 26. He was still trucking hard, and could out run many.
first of all she is 6 aka the best time of her life. i'd say 120 pounds is the ok amout, i would not push it though. It really depends what you are doing ..... english jumping would be a little less or that

western could be quite a bit more
english flat could be 10 or so pounds more.
180 lbs for 18 straight hours.
I would say up to 180lbs because of the whole 20% body weight thing:) Good Luck:)
