How much do YOU spend on your horse per month?

I know it can be different for everyone but I'm just trying to get a general idea. How much do you spend on your horse per month (if you own one that is)?
Hmmmm tough question, but here's my general expenses laid out:

12 bales a hay/month x $ 12/bale=$ 108/month

Wormer every six weeks x 2 horses=approx. $ 20/month

Shoes every 6-8 weeks x 2 horses=$ 180/month

Grain and minerals=approx. $ 50/month

Water bill=approx. $ 25/month for the horses (water heater in the winter, well pump running the water)

Shots once a year=approx $ 100

+ Emergency Vet bills (Just paid $ 800 to the vet for Euthanasia + the backhoe fees)

So work that out however you want ... Since I own and keep horses on my property, it's a bit more difficult to work out than it is for boarders, but I don't know what your situation is, so I figured it may help or it may not! ;-)
Well ALMOST all of you ...

Well I full lease (meaning I pay for the horse as my own but don't technically own him) and i pay $ 300 for board which covers feed, hay, blanketing, turnout, stall cleaning ect. Then i pay $ 75 every 6 weeks for his feet to be trimmed and shoes on the front. The rest is irregular bills for different things like vet and chiropractor.
I pay $ 700 a month for board. I also have to pay farrier bills almost every month. The cost of the farrier depends on what's being done, but it's usually $ 45 +. My horse is also pretty accident-prone, so vet bills cost quite a bit (again, depends on what needs to be taken care of). I also have to buy supplements, but since not all of them are 30-day supplies I don't spend the same amount. And, of course, I end up spending money on treats, polos, saddle pads, and other things that need to be bought.

It totals up to no more than $ 800 a month (usually), which isn't too bad for my area.
Hmm, I have 2 horses boarded at 2 different places. Combined boarding is 580, plus 500 for my TBs full training, plus 100 dollars if they get their shoes that month. Then some senior feed for my old man (around 40) and then some extra if the vet comes to do their teeth or vaccines.
Well I have 2 horses. I spend 500 for board for both, and work of the rest. And I buy there grain which is probably another $ 150 per month. And I tend to shop for them alot so I spend $ 100 + depending on what they need. It sure adds up. Its about $ 750 for me.
I worked out around £ 50 a week plus vet bills. That covers livery, hay, bedding, feed, insurance, farrier etc.
It depends ive spent 500 on mine this month not including feed
Horses are expensive to keep, especially if you have to pay for grazing (which I didn't) ..
