Does a career in Equine Chiropractics require a lot of schooling?
Is it a well-paying career?
Is there a specific school you have to go to to become an Equine Chiropractor?
You can either first become a doctor of human chiropractic, or you can become a doctor of veterinary medicine, and then you'll need to complete additional studies to become certified in equine chiropractic. Either way you're looking at many years of study. You can google schools of veterinary medicine and of human chiropractic for information on requirements.
It can be a well paying career, depending on where and how you practice. Costs for paying off student loans, who your clients are, and the overhead involved if you open your own practice are examples of factors that may influence your earnings.
In most areas, you have to go to vet school and get your DVM before you can be a chiropractor.
I think it is a well paying career, but your looking at a minimum of 8 years of school and you have to get really really good grades in college in order to get into vet school. It takes a lot of studying.
