help with a bucking horse?

  what is the position that you take if your horse bucks unexpectatly
Hello - is that the glue factory.
The best advice I have ever got about riding a bucking horse is look at there head. If you look at the ground , I promise you will go there. Lean back, keep your toes down and pull up or pull them in a circle. If you know you are getting on a horse that is about to buck then psych yourself up. Listen to some inspirational music that pumps you up. Tell yourself that your a bad mo fo and that horse can't throw you even if he really wanted to.
this is weird, my last riding lesson, i rode taylor and whenever i asked him to canter he would start bucking like crazy, i almost fell off. there really isn't any position and you won't get into it fast enough if he's bucking unexpectatly. on my 3rd lesson, my horse bucked twice but she couldn't get me off , now im riding a bucking crazy horse. just sit up tall and keep your heels down, try pulling up you horses head once he starts bucking, like somebody said, when they stop, don't keep pulling up, he might rear. i don't feel like riding taylor again, he was bucking and taking off and turning sharp corners sooooo much, in the end, a volunteer had to get on him to get the bucks outa him. good thing i didn't fall off.

If you're for serious though, you should sit back on your horse and work on pulling his or her head up. When you pull a horse's head up, it makes it harder for them to buck. When you're sitting back, it balances yourself. You see the cowboys do sit back on the broncs in rodeos, bareback or saddle bronc riding, and the purpose is to keep themselves balanced. Pulling his head up keeps him from having all the flexibility he needs to throw his head down and kick up, but once he's stopped bucking, don't jerk him around or he'll rear on you. The worst part about rearing is that there's no real way to stop it when it happens, and you run the risk of him falling back on you.

While he's bucking, get your heels out of him and try your best to balance by sitting back with a deep seat and your feet firm in the stirrups, pull his head up. If your horse bucks like a pro, do your best to hang on and get him to stop - folks think it's safest to jump off, but you're more likely to get hurt doing that than you are to hang on.

Hope this helps ... and if you're riding a horse known to buck, please wear a helmet.>_>;
just sit up straight and keep you heels down

also keep him/her moving, you might get a bit scared if your horse bucks unexpectedly but its not a good idea to stop or come back to a walk, if you do that they think they final scared the crap outa you and then they will start doing it every time they don't wont to do something
stay glued to the saddle and keep ur heels down. pull ur reins up and back to make him stop. also, if he bucks repeatedly, then crack and egg on his head. he will think that he hit somthign and is bleeding. he will never DARE buck or rear ever again. my frend did thta. hope i helped!
