Why does my thoroughbred keep bucking?

My 15 year old thoroughbred was a DREAM when I first started riding her. She would not misbehave at all. But now, since I recently started jumping her she's been ab * tch! I was cantering her around my field today and she headed straight for the tree, she bucked, then took a sharp corner. Causing me to lose both stirrups and have to hold into her neck for dear life!! Another time she bolted, once again bucking .. Why has she suddenly started bucking? Is it my riding, after all, I am a beginner. Help please, I hate getting mad at/around my horse: (
It could be a few different things. She could be in pain from an injury or just sore for whatever reason. Her saddle also might not fit too well, especially if she's just gained or lost a lot of weight. Horses also buck if they're too energetic or excited. You might want to consider changing her diet if she's on something that makes her 'hot '.

If you are a beginner, then you should see if a trainer or experienced rider can help you.
Hi, it could be a number of things causing this. Since your a beginner I'd advise you get a trainer asap to deal with this before either of you get hurt. Hope this helps good luck!
If this has happened suddenly, she might be in pain. I would have an expert trianer, a vet, or a horse chiropractor (yes, they exist) look at her.
probably because you started jumping her, maybe she doesn't like jumping AT ALL!!! pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

but yet again i could be wrong it could be something else, hope i helped you out a little
If you are a beginner get a trainer! They will help you out and show you what to do.

Good luck
i would:

~ Get someone to check her and make sure there is nothing hurting her

~ If you are a beginner, than it could be cause you are letting her do what she wants a bit to much

and she has learnt she can push you around, so make sure when you ask her to do something she dose it

~ Get someone who knows how to handle horses like her, and ask them to help, a trainner or an instructor

~ I don't know where you live, but in Australia it is spring, and horses usually feel a bit energetic and free in spring, my horse is a thoroughbred too and he is 21, sometimes he pigroots, throws his head and takes off , but you seem to be in more trouble

~ Mares can also go into heat and i have heard they can be a bit mean (havn't had a mare)
