Show/Riding disciplines that do not allow leg wraps (ie polo

  Hey Everyone:)

I am working on a sport horse exercise phys paper, and I am pretty keen on the science part but do not know enough about the showing side. As I understand it, this really depends on the show, the location, and the level riding at . Can anyone confirm this for me? I am strictly discussing USA only.

In what disciplines ((USA only)) are leg wraps (ie in the actual show arena, etc.) NOT allowed? Please please try to provide legit sources if applicable!! Thank you!: D Any hints/tips on how or where I can locate this Information myself would be very helpful.

A huge thank you to any help. Please, no comments on wraps use, etc ... I am only looking for information on disciplines.

Take Care,

Sarahbeth
Saddleseat, hunter pleasure, western pleasure, pleasure driving, classic pleasure driving, park harness, in-hand/halter .. most classes that are not over fences or working western don't allow any sort of leg protection.
Leg wraps, polo wraps, and boots are not allowed in any level of dressage in the show ring. As far as I know, they are allowed in Jumpers, Hunters, and all western disciplines.
