i got 23, first barrel race in show ... on lesson horse:)
Like the person above me said, it does depend on the size of the pattern.
In my opinion a 23 is great for a first time on a lesson horse! My girst time I got a 28 but it was a fairly big pattern.
You're already doing great! Keep barrel racing, I think you could go far!
Depending on the size of pattern it is ....... if its a small pattern its ok but could be better. If it's a large pattern then its a pretty good time for a first time. But a 23 for a first time is pretty good no matter what!
23 seconds is a good first time regardless of the arena size, Congratulations keep running them drums.
