I have a HORSE RIDING browband (that goes on the bridle of the horse) that I have decorated with ribbon. Now I just need to know how to make rosettes! I want them to look like these ones: http://www.contemporarybrowbands .com.au/index.php? page=crystal

You will need ribbons of various widths
Pleat the widest on one side, these will have to be tiny pleats to get the right width of pleat on the circle. When you have enough done to complete the circle, stitch the ends together and then under where the next layer will go put in a stitch on each pleat so it doesn't show under the next layer.
The crystals you would have to fix individually, I assume with a glue gun.
It takes a while to get it off pat but fiddle and experiment and you will get there.
