please answer me asap. thanks, also leave a rude comment i can garentee im not choosing you as best awnser
Hmm, so as I have recently figured out, One Hot Mama (who is a male) according to its profile is an asshole.
Anyway ... I would say wait until he is around 5 years old to go much higher. He sounds like a great horse and I know you don't want to take the risk of possibly hurting him in any way (even if it isn 't permanent).
Keep jumping him and be sure to do alot of flat work and broaden his horizons. Work up his muscles and maybe try to jump him just a little bit higher if your mom allows.

What most people forget is horses are individuals. They all mature and develop at different levels. Most horses don't reach full physical maturity until they are 5 to 7 years of age. Although some faster, some slower. There is no way for a bunch of strangers on YA to know if your horse is physically or mentally ready to progress. That is something that needs to be discussed with your vet and/or an experienced professional. But regardless, if your mom is telling you not to do something, I'm sure it for a good reason. So I would stop whining and listen.
Despite what some people say horses, especially larger breeds like warmbloods, don't fully physically mature until they reach about 7 years of age. Your mom is correct. Actually if you were my kid you wouldn't even be doing 2 "6 'on a four year old. So quit acting like a brat and questioning her judgement.
And I don't care you don't chose me BA, my life doesn't revolve around Y! A points. Grow up kiddo.
Doesn't matter the breed unless the horse is a large breed (like a draft type )...

ALL breeds finish growing and maturing mentally and physically at 5 .... not 3-4.
Draft types or other large breeds finish at 8.
So, I think your mom has some common sense and has the horse's best interest at heart. She sounds wise. Take the hint
almost all horses mature around 5
