It has a short back so I would say up to 250 ....
But it also has a bit of a sway back so you wouldn't want to try going bareback and makin gthe horse sore. Otherwise I love the feathers! Super cute!

I would also say 12st, if the rider was balanced. I dont think he would snap with a bit more than than, but you would be very restricted with what you could do and that wouldnt be fair on horse or rider. sorry RACH i thumb downed you i ment to thumb up you! x HadToBeToday you are saying that 14.2hh pony could carry 17st12? it will be a good weight carrying horse.
edit. around 12 stone. my friend is about that, hers is 14.2hh.
edit. looking at one of your other questions. you would be too tall to ride a 14hh pony anyway's. you want to be looking more around 16hh mark.
I'd say the same up to about 12 stone if the rider is capable and balanced.
However, for a novice rider if they can't balance themselves then no more than 11 stone.
