i have been looking for a barrel saddle for my arab/saddle bred for over four months. i have called ten different shops about an hour and half from my place, bu no one seem to have any barrel saddles and if they do they are out of my price range. i took my horse to a tack shop close to me to get him measure for a saddle, but the person told me that his high withers shouldn't be a problem and i should not have a hard time picking out a saddle for him. my question is i was wondering if anyone could give me a idea what brand they use for there high wither arabian or a saddle that u went with that fit your horse good. i am wanting an barrel saddle bc i do poles and barrels with him, and i can't seem to find many arabian barrel only can find semi quarter and full. i know all saddles fits different but i need an idea where to start. the guy told me that american saddlery brand with a 6 1/4 gullet with a swell of 12 would be fine for him..any idea would help, i do know that a full quarter bar with a 7 gullet will not fit. no rude comments only helpful comments
