Which horse do you like the most?
answer: I like the second one a lot. He looks like a Hancock horse (is he?). I've always loved the Hancock bloodlines; they're your typical sturdy, strong, cow horse. He's put together pretty nice and I really like his shoulder and hind end, both are built well and proportional to each other. I can't see his pasterns, but hopefully they match his shoulder angle. Good strong back and just an all-around nice looking horse. Clearly he's cow bred, probably foundation bred too?
I like the third one too, but I don't like his giant neck. He looks sturdy and tough too. But I'd love to see his bloodlines before judging him any more that I already have. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
The other two are too long for my taste. I barrel race, so i need a nice short-back horse to get around those turns quickly. The other two are also just not built for the kinds of things I like to do. But I could see them both easily excelling in different things.
1 is long and weak ... weak stifles, weak back, weak hind end ... sure they put some muscle on him but it doesn't change the fact that he is built very weak structurally and is not going to stay sound for his whole life even with the best care.
# 2 can't see his feet/pasterns but the way his front end is constructed , they're sure to be upright and tiny hooves. This really isn't a good conformation picture though, so not much to say ... bull neck but I'm guessing he's a stallion so I can sort of forgive it.
# 3 is camped out behind, but he is pretty compact and his front end looks good. I don't think his hind end will give him any soundness problems, but I wouldn't breed that.
# 4 is probably the nicest-uphill build, nice sloping shoulder, good angles on the pasterns, and pretty proportionate ... although again camped out in the behind. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
I like the fourth the best ( nothing to do with his color btw) but I don't really think any of them are stallion-quality, which I'm pretty sure at least half of them are. I certainly would never breed a mare to any of them.
Not a great picture, but I actually like # 2 the most. # 1 is gorgeous, but looks a shade sickle-hocked, in that pic at least. # 3 is rather to upright for my liking . Both # 2 and # 4 look excellent, but what a fabulously long, sloping shoulder on # 2, beats the others hollow in my book!
i like the 3rd and 2nd the best out of those though i don't really like any of them because they don't have especially good conformation for jumping and i love to jump. i know that the 4 has the best conformation but i don't really like him.

** Brenda ..... if your family has been raising horses for 8 generations I figure you should know your colors???? As that is NOT a grey that is a Roan ... Blue Roan.

The 4th. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
I personally don't find any of these horses attractive but going by conformation I would say the 4th.
