My love for horses is to strong for words. I love my horse more than life. No one understands that feeling you get. Its a feeling i cant explain. Does anyone else have that feeling about horses?
No one understands the bond between a girl and her horse. They just think i horse is a "pet" and its just fun to ride it. But there's something else there . Does anyone know what im talking about?

yes i know how u feel. im a horse trader, thats wat i do. but i have ONE and ONLY ONE horse that i keep and thats my girl misty. i wouldnt trade her for anything in the world.:)

The connection aa "horse-crazy" person feels for their animal is one that non-horsey people (and even some "horse" people) cannot understand. It can't be taught or adopted over time. If it's there it's there. It can also make relationships difficult. Most non-horsey people get somewhat aggravated over it and it is a blessed day to find either an equally horsey partner or a non-horsey partner that just accepts it is what it is. The non-horsey partner, however hard they try, will never "really" get it though. You are not alone, we " crazy "people all get you!

I am not saying that there aren't great riders out there that feel they" need "their horse, I'm just saying those aren't part of this" breed "of horse people.

I know exactly what you mean. My horses are my life - they're my friends - my family and my pet. People who refer to them as" ; Just a horse "dont understand the bond that we have with them. It is hard to explain - but I get exactly what you mean as will most horse owners

i dont have a horse and i dont have money to ride them at all so i volunteer with working with them for little kids and i love them so much its unreal, people say i am mad for working non stop from 8am till 5pm with a 15 mins brake but i dont care i love them so much and i could never leave them. i would love to ride myself, i used to when i lived in england but now i live in NZ i have no money at all: (

i have a rough idea the feeling i got when i stayed at a cottage by a field of horses and a stables i walked down to the stables everyday and in the evening because i just wanted to feel that way again this beautiful black and brown horse and ive wanted my own ever since please answer my latest question regarding this:)

at school (cause they know i have horses) when they talk about it it feels like as if they see it all from a different view to what i do. like as if, she has horses!! wow!! and she loves riding!! wow!!
but i dont really think they get the 'love' bit to it all. how it really feels having a bond with a horse and it sometimes annoys me cause i feel like they dont get me. like the REAL reason to why i love horses so much

I most certainly understand what you mean . People just don't understand, sometimes. But that's okay. When people like that answer questions like, meanly, then they don't deserve to understand that bond. So, yeah. I definitely understand. I live for my favorite horse.

I totally understand. When your horse is not near, you feel as if your heart has gotten up and left the building. "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a (wo) man. ":-)
