Ive had it for a couple of years now and a few of my fish have died off and there is plenty of room in my tank and ive decided i want something new instead of just restocking the other fish. I still have some other fish though so whatever you suggest has to be a peaceful community fish.

FISH IN MY TANK CURRENTLY:
~9 Neon Tetra
~5 Black Skirt Tetra
~3 Serpea Tetra
~1 Black Molly (There were 3 but the other 2 died and she didnt like the other ones anyways)
~1 Zebra Danio (Again, there were 3...i might get 3-5 more of them though since he liked schooling)
~1 Golden Dojo Loach
~1 6" Pleco
~1 Red Tailed Shark (Relatively Peaceful)

so what would you recomend i get? Im not sure how many peaceful fish are out there but i would prefer not to get any more schooling fish but more of a couple of individual kinds of fish who are peacful. But if schooling is the only kind really then give me some of those options as well.

My tank is a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium and it has a small cave and a large fake log fixture that gives some hiding and then it has a select few plants...i might get more plants before i get the new fish so there would be more hiding places.

P.S. ive already had female bettas in this tank and though they do fine for like half a year and even seem extremely happy they always seem to die on me after the half a year is up...so i would like not to get another one of those for now. (dont even say they arent meant for community tanks because many successful tanks have female bettas who are very happy and mine even thought she was one of the molly, im pretty sure they just died because both times i had a female betta i would get another new fish and my tank would get Ich...i do need to get a quarentine tank...)

You're stocked or overstocked now. Don't add anything else.

You can add some rasbora tetras and some ghost shrimp.
