Is it ok if i have 6 guppies in my 10 gallon tank?
i do water changes weekly. so far i have 2 males and 4 females for each male. When my female gives birth i will give the fry to my friend, he raises guppies he has a lot of fry. HE can take in as much as i give him he owns his own fish store! so plz dont talk like O he cant take that many. The fishs tore is specialized in guppies, he knows how to breed, take care, and other things for guppies. secondly how do i give the female a good birth place i have a breeding trap so like how do i know when to put her in, but plz answer my main question too.
yeah just keep it clean
I have over 50 guppies in my tank. its only 20 gallons and i clean the water maybe once every month and a half. the key is to have a bigger filter. ive got a filter meant for like a 50-80 gallon tank. Also dont change the water so much. And dont alllow to much inbreeding or theyll have defected babies.
3-4 max.. especially if you're breeding them. I would not separate the fry from the parents simply because you don't have room for anymore. Earlier you said you had 9 guppies. Which is it?

Why don't you ask your friend the breeder?
You can have more if you like. But 6 guppies is good. put her in the breeding trap when she has a squared off belly, hidding behind filter, in the corners, has a huge belly and dark spot. A breeding box is okay unless you have another fish tank.

i keep fish and breed them guppies mostly
be sure to have enough space for all your fish.
