i got a male guppy a hes always at the bottom his belly is really fat and he only comes for food or bubbles !!!i wanna help him and its not a girl he has the pointy fin thing on him and a fancy tail oo \:P

It's possible that he has Swim Bladder Disease. Sadly, this disease usually ends in them dying :( You can find out more info about SBD go here:

Also, you should google "fish with swim bladder disease" to see if he looks like that or not.

BUT, try giving him a half of a thawed pea. (only the inside stuff, not the skin) That has been known to some times cure fish with SBD. My fish once had it, and it worked great! If it cures him, you should probably give him a thawed pea (without the skin) once a week to keep him from getting it again. It's also healthy for them!

well if you only have 1 male out of all your guppies i suggest getting 2 females and maybe another mal and put them all in the same tank. if u buy 2 females they will have more babies and chances are you will probably get a new male guppy :) but if you already have a pregnant female then yeah lol. hope it helped!

You can try to do more water changes and add stress coat to help him but it is most likley that he is going to die
