My Male guppy has went threw alot of moving from stores to houses to tanks and he was doing just fine but know i see a difference ............. His color is fading .... and his tail is edged a bit (uneven).

He's not sick, color fades due to a lack of light, do you have a light at the top of his tank? If color fades its okay, that won't harm him. And the tail is probably just some damage from splashing.
Fish like to hide actually, it makes them feel safe, and its fun. My fish use to jam himself under the filter (since the bottom is only inches away from the tank floor) and that made him lose some scales/rough up his tail . Nothing to worry about, think of it as natural weathering.:)
He's fine. (PS: I'm not sure but guppies probably live for about 7/10 years if healthy).
Guppies live up to 4 years, i'm pretty sure.

Him being at the top of the tank is normal. Unless he's floating on his belly or side.
Take him out of the tank and treat him
