Gold and Blue Mystery snail. Can a mystery snail lay eggs BE

I believe I have a Gold female Mystery snail and a Blue male Mystery snail. I have seen them mating before, and I recently woke up to find about 80 baby snails dispersed on the inside of my fish tank. The weird thing about all of this is that the eggs: 1) were layed BELOW the water, 2) were a clear white/translucent jelly blob, and 3) were VERY small compared to every picture I see on the internet.

The clutch of eggs was literally as small as a quarter, and they were dangling from my female snail for like a week. Then, she finally left them on a leaf and they stayed there for about 3 weeks. They looked absolutely NO different from day to day, so I didn't think that they would hatch. But sure enough, they did. The eggs of a mystery snail are supposed to be a pinkish color, larger in size, and layed above the water surface. Is it possible for this to really happen? Or do I have a different type of snail?

The babies are all moving and doing well. They move quite fast and are eating the algae I give them. They are growing too. I just find it odd that everywhere I look, it says that the eggs will drown if they are under water and that there is no way the snails could live through it ... yet, mine have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
From your description of the egg clutch and the moving speed of the babies, it sounds like you had eggs from a Bladder Snail. A Mystery Snail never lays it's eggs underwater - if it did, the babies would simply drown and die within the eggs before ever hatching.
Yes. I had a gold mystery snail, it's eggs were layed below the surface in thewater. The problem is they lay like 1000 eggs!
