could somebody help me.hi have both two big red bellys piranha 3 days ago.hi have two big tank that are 75 gallons.hi have my two babys that they are 4 month old in one aquarium and my other are in the other.my two big one started to pic in the gravel and they go up and down together they go on ther side in the gravel they are freaking out together and they change color.they are almost black.they are breading very fast.could hi have been lucky and got a female and a male.maby they are spawning hi hop so.
There are 2 good signs that your red-belly Piranhas are mating. One in the male going round and round in circles around the chosen breeding area while the female guards the area. The second is the two of them side by with their faces pointed to the gravel rubbing against each other and breathing into the gravel. If they are doing this they will spawn very soon.
