Cheap glass equals a cheap fish tank. Definitely not a good idea.
Go to Petco right now and buy one of their dollar a gallon tanks. Trust me it costs more money and time to build a tank with any type of glass than it does to buy a nice tank there. Unless you're trying to build a specialized tank I don't recommend building your own, cheap glass will not work and the expertise needed is probably something you don't have. If I'm wrong though, you can probably find nice glass at a home design store, I don ' t recommend using cheap glass, going cheap never turns out for the better.
Dont make the tank just go and buy a proper 1 cos the glass needs 2 be placed in proper chimicals 2 kill all bacteria ect ect. (im saying this kindly lol)
