I live on the second floor of a house with hardwood flooring. After figuring out that its about 8 pounds per gallon + the stand and gravel im looking at about 800 pounds al in all. Can this work?
Just make sure the tank is over 2 beams and not just 1
Try 10 lbs per gallon of water plus the weight of the rocks, filters, stand, however, I have a 75 gallon tank and live in an apartment building that is not very well taken care of (wood rot) I have lived here for around 5 years. I have had no problems at all. You have to realize that the span of the tank will even out the weight of the tank. I see no problem at all. Go for it,
up to 125 gallons should be okay, if it is placed in a good structural location and your floor framing is free from significant defects.
You're fine
yea a natural floor can suport over 4 tons of pressurre so ur tank if fine just make sure u dont spill it; D
