The leaf keeps on falling out of the suction cup!
And it has a metal tip at the end which can rust (is that bad In an aquarium? I cant really get aquarium silacone !!!)
that happened with my second hammock ... if you can't get your hands on any aquarium silicone, you could use Krazy glue or Super glue ... and rust is bad but it should not rust for quite a while for you to be concerned about ...
its not terrible if it will rust, but it should be avoided when possible. you can use aquarium silacone to glue the leaf to the suction cup and also seal the metal part. here is a cheap small tube of aquarium sealant you could use:

mine wouldnt come out and my betta turned obese cuz she just sat there and ate and all it rusted also but nothings happened so far
