Pet store has said 1 pellet per day or 2 every 2 days. Betta looks like he could eat my arm off every time I come near. Is this enough food?
Yes that's enough food. When your betta see you, they instanly acknowledge you because they know they're going to be fed. But, it doesn't mean they're hungry. If you fed your betta 10 pellets for example. They'll still be acknowledging you for more food, but they can ' t possibly be hungry. You just have to resist feeding them or else you could overfeed them and possibly incur a disease. i feed mine one a day about 2 pellets. And I also skip a day to make them a bit hungry for the next day . good luck.
Like someone else said, the only reason they look like they want to bite your arm off is because they know they will be fed. Not that they are hungry.
I feed what my betta can eat within 2 min. But then again, those are flakes. Check what the instructions say on the back of the container.
3 pellets every 3 days

my betta usually gets 4 or 6 pellets a day depending on how generous im feeling.
Between 3-6 pellets EVERY day.
skip one day a week.
