Tropical Community Tanks?

I have a 37 gallon tank heater and filtered with cleansers for a while and i want a tropical community. I need to know what Temperature to put it at and decorations to put in. I want atleast one school of fish. I already have 2 glofish that i want to put into it and most likely will buy 3-5 more. Also should i get snails or those sucker fish that help clean tanks?
No, do not get snails! They are asexual and will take over your tank ! "Those sucker fish" are plecos or algae eaters. Both get very large (unless you get a leopard pleco) and algea eaters are aggressive. Keep the temp in the mid to high seventies (76-78). I recommend a school of 6 or more danios. They come in different colors, sizes, and patterns and are constantly moving at the top of the tank. For the middle of the tank, id go with a school of tetras. Or if you don't want another school you could get a pair of gouramis (blue gouramis are popular). You should also get a few corydoras cat fish. They are small, bottom dwelling catfish that live in schools of 3 or more. They will clean up any extra food on the bottom. You still need to supplement their diet with some algae tablets.
Depending on the species of suckerfish, it may or may not be appropriate. Common Plecos get huge, upwards of 2 feet. Absolutely incompatible with a 37 gal tank. You might be able to get a dwarf pleco of some variety though, which might work well. 5-7 glofish in a 37 gallon tank is very much understocked, which is ok, but you could afford more. glofish school, and so like some company. you could easily get a dozen in there. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

As for decorations and temperature, temp should be between 72 and 82 degrees, and as constant as possible. Decorations are really up to you, but you should get enough to provide cover, and give the fish a sense of security. I tend to go for natural looking decor, but as long as it provides a hiding spot, the fish won't care. You will need a good bit of it though, in order to adequately cover a 37 gal.
Yes get the Pleco (the sucker fish). However, about the snails, ask someone else.
