can i take out an additional, very small, undergravel filter

I have a gold gourami, 2 dwarf gouramis, and 3 guppies in a 10 gallon tank. The tank has a whisper 10 i in tank filter in it and it works well. However from the start i've also had a small undergravel filter that was for a small 2 gallon tank (so it's doing barely anything for the tank) in there and i was wondering if i can take it out. The tank is fully cycled and i do 25 percent water changes every 2 weeks or so. The only thing i'm worried about with taking it out is that by taking it out i'm also taking out beneficial bacteria that is in that filter ... so could i take this out or should i just leave it? it's rather noisy and it was stained blue from an ich treatment a while back (which has now been gone for like 2 or 3 weeks) so i'd like it out.
just let it there to have your tank super clean after all im trying to have 4 filters in a 29 g tank its 2 out of 4 im trying to have an exterior filter and an interior filter i already have a pwerhead filter and a spongefilter i have a bare bottom tank
You are way overstocked. I have a Dwarf Gourami in a 10 gallon alone. One Dwarf Gourami and 3 guppies stock your aquarium. Gourami's are semi-aggressive and wont get along in 10 gallons anyways. Gold Gourami's shouldn't even be in 10 gallons. I suggest you get a 20-30 gallon asap

Also, 25% water changes once every 2 weeks is not good enough for Gourami's. In bad water conditions they develop, 'hole in the head' disease. My one Gourami gets a 25% water change every week and it is alone in 10 gallons .

I suggest you keep a Dwarf Gourami and the 3 guppies and take the rest back ... Why take out the underground filter? With a badly stocked aquarium you will need it.
