I am looking to find a canadian retailer that sells aquatic freshwater plants online, or an american distributer who can RELIABLY ship plants (as I have yet to have a single plant shipped from the states arrive alive. Ever. From multiple sources.)
Some plants I'm looking for:
Dwarf Baby Tears (Hemianthus callitrichoides)
Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei)
Java Moss (Vesicularia Dubyana)
Dwarf Hairgrass (Eleocharis acicularis)
I'm curious as to why online is your choice of retailer. I don't know of any but I have worked with a lot of aquatic plants and You can get a pet store to buy a bulk order just for you at a negotiated price, this way you can get a discount and most are great when it comes to damaged product. I would say that seeing where your plants are cared for is reassuring.Depending on the area you live in You can find a lot of reputable pet shops that carry great plants, some that I would recommend are Big Al's (they can buy wholesale and afford cheaper prices and more stock), Menagerie Pet shop (I have worked there and shopped there countless times, They have an amazing variety of plants 416-921-4966 Harold is the manager of the fish department) I googled this-
