Which is better a crawfish r ghost shrimp?
for 1 10 gallon
i have a 10 gallon with fish and a ghost shrim, and a crawdad! i love them the crawdad is sooooooo fun to watch he is pretty active, the ghost shrimp is fun when i can find him he usually hides.... hope i helped friend me
It depends if you have anything else in there. Ghost shrimp are non-aggressive, funny little things that can co-exist happily with most fish. Crawfish are aggressive creatures that will take a snap at most fish. They are fascinating creatures, though, and I love them. If you plan on getting one, keep it by itself where it can't bully the fish. :)

Ghost shrimp are very mild mannerd, they provide and attractive addition to most tanks as well as provide a stimulating food for larger fish.
Crayfish i would avoid if you have live plants in your tank. They are omnivores and will eat, uproot, and relocate any living plants that they can muscle out of the substrate.
It really depends on the size of the tank, and the avalability of cover/ hiding spots for the crayfish or ghost shrimp.
Crayfish can and will grow to large sizes and are aggresive predators. they need their own food and can starve if left to eat scraps of fish food OR they will turn to eating your fish or plants.
if the tank is Large enough, ( i only put crayfish in my 40 gallon breeder ) then crayfish may be an option.
I hope this helps you out.
