So i have followed all the steps of prepariparing (like feeding them frozen bloodworms, keeping them in a tank with a hurricane wall inbetween them for two days) and i just released them two hours ago. They did "dancing" for like an hour or two and my male still doesnt have a bubble nest. The female is hiding in the foliage while the male is just swimming around the tank. are they not ready to breed? the female has the verticle stripes along her back.

thats kinda weird... by dance do you mean they wrapped themselves around each other? Anyway the biggest problem with people trying to breed bettas is that they didnt keep track of the age of the fish therefor they might be too young or too old for breeding.
