Can fish live in a tank with well water?
not after a couple days, because they would die of starvation. They would probably die even sooner because of the coldness of he water, as fish are cold blooded
Don't listen to that guy! All freshwater fish can survive in well water! All you need is a tank with a heater and that's it, and feed them once a day!
yea but b4 you put the fish in the tank.. make sure the water is room temp.
There are a few things you need to do before tossing fish into your tank.
1. Learn the required tempatures for the fish that you wish to keep in the tank, and if needed obtain a heater.
2. test the water quality of the well water. (Ph, Hardness, Nitrates etc,) If you are new to keeping and mantaining aquariums then bring the water to a local petsmart. they usually provide free water tests.

After you do this, then yes, provided that you have correct water temp, and correct water quality, fish can indeed live in well water, or any water.
Hope this helps
