Where do you buy chemicals to cure swimbladder disease?
I have a black moor goldfish who appears to have swim bladder disease. I've looked online and I can't seem to find anywhere that I can buy chemicals to help cure this.
'Peas' is the easy, simple cure. Thaw, De~Shell them and dice them in bite size pieces. Your Goldfish will accept it as a treat. Some people boil the peas. I never have and it still cures my fish. (I have had a Goldfish with swim bladder before too). Feed your Goldfish 1-2 peas. Remove uneaten pieces. You will see results in 1-2 days. Repeat 'pea' snack every 2 weeks to PREVENT your Goldfish from getting swim bladder. They are prone to it and get it when they gulp food flakes from the surface. Switch to pellet food if needed.
All you have to do is fast him for 3 days and he'll be swimming fine, if not give him the inside of a blanched pea, it'll aid in digestion.......

Live daphnia and duckweed prevent "swim bladder disease" which is really gas trapped in the intestines. They can cure it if the fish is still eating. Otherwise a hospital tank with Epsom salts can remove the blockage.

You can order both duckweed and live daphnia from William a. Trickers.
The Epsom salts are a drug store item.
