i was thinking 6 discus and 6 neon tetras (maybe more)But i hear discus are hard to take care of and i would rather not waste $25 on a fish that will die unless i spend alot more. I Would like fish that are about 6 inches long or bigger but no bigger than 14 inches thanks

- so if you went for something like these you could be a school of a big tetra like bleeding hearts, or something that's bigger and of the same area. I think i've seen these guys with nicaragua cichlids but just make sure they'll be fine before buying them.

ok you sound lie me piky like a son of a b**** bout spending mony. lol. so dotn go with dicus wast of mony i think they do die easily. it sounds liek you want a tropical tank so no goldfish. i would go with some snails for cleaning neon tetras for colro and then maby soem balla shark angel fish elephant nose cuz there kewl. lol. kuhli louches dojo louches rope fish and some dwarf gauromis and some smaller kinds of cichlids. these are all very good fish and they can live well with each other.
