I accidentally brushed up against my black moor goldfish?
When I was getting something out of tank I brushed up against him on the side of my tank will his slime coat be ok?
YES. IT DOESN'T TAKE A BRAIN TO FIGURE THAT OUT.
it will be fine, there slime coat is only really harmed if your picking them up or playing with them.
Hes fine. Touching on accident, and a little bit dont do much.

If you pet him, pick him up constantly holding him then be worried.

Also if you are really worried put water conditioner in as water conidioner doubles as a stress coat as well.
yes he is fine

My goldfish play and brush up against me all the time when I do maintenance on the tank, and even though I try not to encourage it they are still interactive the minute my hand goes in the water. In the 10 years I've been keeping fancies I've never had one that's shown any sign of damage or harm by playing and occasionally brushing up against my hand or arm
Constantly netting or constant/rough handling is a different story, but to just brush up against him - not to worry
