Does the mother crayfish eat it's own eggs when it drop on the ground?
I have a pregnant crayfish and I only figured it out today while trying to clean the tank. And i noticed that my smallest crayfish was a female and it had eggs. But one egg dropped on the ground into the tank. Then it started walking towards it. It seemed like it was trying to place the egg back into it's tiny legs in it's tail. The male crayfish kept on annoying the female so I am going to seperate them. Dude I am only a little kid that is taking care of them literally myself and they look in tip top shape. But do mother crayfishes really do this?
no
put the mother crayfish separately
Yes, they will eat their own eggs.
