I recently got 3 zebra danios, Im pretty sure two females, and one male. In the past few days, one of the female's bellies has gotten bigger, and turned whiter colored. It has also been hanging out next to the surface. Is it pregnant?
The female Zebra Danios are usually slightly larger than the males with a bigger belly. I have 2 males and a female and the female has looked pregnant for a long time. I don't think she is pregnant, I think she's well fed lol. And my danios also spend a lot of time near the surface. I'm not sire why, but they like it up there. I don't think you have anything to worry about my friend.:)
