I only feed him 3 pellets once and sometimes twice a day
fish spit out food all the time, dont panic. Its when they completely ignore food that you might worry.
Pellets are sharp and hard to swallow. Then once he does, they slowly expand in fishes stomachs. The best thing to do is soak the pellets in a cup of his tank water for 1-2 minutes before feeding.
You could try feeding him a little less, mine eats one at a time, and I don't add another until he's eaten that one. Or he could have a little digestive trouble, and you can try shelled peas for that. Google shelled pea + betta, because I haven't had to try this yet. Like I said, three could be too much. They have really tiny stomachs.
Does he eat the pellet, spit it out, then eat the pellet again? Mine did that because the pellets were too hard for him (i think?) so we was waiting for them to soften up. I switched to a betta flake food and dried blood worms and he eats no problem now.

It isn't vomiting. It just don't like the food and is spitting it out. Try different brands ...
