Got new shrimp and 1 little planAria came with them.
Will this one become a problem? Will shrimp eat them? I only saw one ....
5 Gallon tank with betta fish and 5 red cherry shrimp.
I know that ghost shrimp and betta's will eat planeria if they find it, I don't know about cherries, but I think they would too.
Planeria are harmless, they just eat any leftover crud that accumulates at the bottom. However, if it gets to the point where you can watch them regularly crawling along the walls, then you are feeding too much, just cut back. You'll be fine.:)
