i brought 2 goldfish today, and brought a tank as well?

the tank is 19cm height and 24cm width,, is this big enough?, do i need a filter in this size tank? and what should the temperature be in the tank?
it is not possible to work out the gallons of your tank without length, width and height ... but don't bother posting because you did not do your research before this impulse purchase and those fish do not fit in a tank that size, there is not even a need for me to work it out ... return the fish, cycle the tank and then add fish that are appropriate for the size tank you have (and figure it out yourself, google aquarium calculator and post how many gallons, otherwise you are just looking foolish, every fish owner knows how many gallons they have or litres if you are metric) ... and give up the idea of goldfish and do NOT get your information from a pet store clerk that only wants to sell stuff ... your computer accesses ALL of the internet and not just yahoo answers ...
NO YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER BUY THE FISH AND THE TANK AT THE SAME TIME !!!!! This is because the water has to filter for at least two or more weeks and the fish will probrably not survive. Even if you were to put the fish in goldfish are very messy and without a filter their poop and excess food will start to poison the water The tank sounds big enough but for goldfish you must have a ten to twenty gallon tank for goldfish. Many people do not understand that goldfish are high maintenence fish and that they seem like they are for beginners but they really are more for experience fish carers or for koi ponds.
Uhoh, you did this the wrong way round! Tank should always come first, and yes the tank should always be filtered. It takes 2-6 weeks before a filter is mature enough to support fish. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Also, Goldfish get between 15-30cm in length, not including fins, and fast. So no, that tank is far too small for Goldfish!

I would recommend returning the fish to the store. With no filter that water will turn toxic and start to poison the fish within 12 hours. Keeping fish is more of a chemistry exam than a pet!
Fill the tank with water let it sit in the room it will be in for about 2 hours, then transfer the fish in, you dont need a filter in a tank this size but you can buy tablets to purify the water from the vet. Always make sure you never run out of the tablets, i did and my fish died: - (Only feed them a tiny amount of flakes daily and put in a few toys to let them explore and swim around
you may want a filter for your tank because goldfish can be quite messy and leave a fair amount of waste, unless you want to do bi-weekly water changes. but your tank size should be fine and the temp should be at least over 70 degrees
thats a huge mistake! make sure you GET A FILTER. no heater becuase they are goldfish! plus. did u age the water? if its not old enough they will DIE. i dont think thats big enough!
well if they die put them down the toilet ..... . or if you live neer the sea ..... theres its heven ........ (make sure you put it in the sea secretly: s) x
bought * and you should include the size of the fish. or ask your pet store workers
depends on the size of the goldfish?
